Something You Never Want To See In Grocery Store

It was raining for few days here and not much to do. We went to get something to eat and stop to get some drinks from this grocery store by were we eat at and I see big roaches all over the water pipe that was inside the store. I do not think they really care about them because it is normal part of life. If this was US that would never happen and if did the place would shutdown by the Health Department.

Natural Carbonated Soda

So, we were looking for coconuts and this person near the house was selling them. So, we tried to get some, but they were not there or sleeping. There was huge pile of them in front of the house. After, the third time trying to get the people were awake.

So, we tried one, he was using very sharp knife to chop off the outer shell of the coconut. When they get off the tree they are not small and round like you would buy in the use markets.

So, he cut small hole in it and put straw into it and we just drank from the freshly cut coconut. The taste of the juice was very unique. It was like a carbonated vineger soda.

After drinking all the coconut juice and eating the fresh coconut, I got a little sick to my stomch, so had to eat some peanut butter to make feel little better, it was feeling better until I went on multi-cab ride now it is all mixed up in my stomach.

Superferry Day 3

Day started about three forty-five in the morning! At that time there was still about nine hours left on the trip. It was cloudy when today was going talk photo of sunrise, but can not.

Taking my walk around the ship I notice the chickens I made joke about yesterday where gone. Julieta said they killed them and we ate them for breakfast, which was not to appealing to me, so I have to her and she didn’t eat all of it. Before we left this old lady ask for so I gave to her.

One of the people I took picture has this interesting marks on the back of her neck, it kind of looks like frog or butterfly burned into her skin. I think you would have never seen it, if her hair was not up, but it hard see anyway. I think she is an attractive lady.

As of writing this there is four half more hours and everyone is getting ready to get off the boat.

The crew is getting everything back from the passages like sheets and pillows.

There was this young lady named Lynn (I think) took and meet some guy the first day and last night she slept / had sex with him the last night we were on the boat. Only reason why I say that the were moving around to much at four in the morning to just be sleeping. Later that day it look like she know the person or it was her boyfriend, but I am not sure still.

There is a group of woman here that are being very noise. I have no idea why they are so loud, but you can hear the over everyone else in the area I am at.

One thing I have notice is, here in this country, when comes to jobs with any company they have skinny attractive women working at them. This company is no different all the female employees are good looking for the most part and have very thin bodies.

They boat was doing contest and Julieta thought they said they wanted e-ticket, but when I got up there, I ask what they wanted and it was “kikay kit” which is lipstick or compact makeup and the said maybe your wife or girlfriend or lover has one, so I had a lover and was her and kind of put on the spot and laugh about it. I didn’t say this, but I was going to tell her that I was handsome enough for her? I would like to see the reaction form that.

Superferry Day 2

Day two was ok. Not much going on. The ship stopped in Cebu, Philippines for about three hours. We where going to to the mall there, but was enough time because we had to be back on the ship two hours before we left. Interesting people on the boat. Later that night I was taking random pictures of people around me. There was group of people on left that wanted me take photo of them and after I took the photo thy offered me food to eat, they were nice people. I don’t know if they all knew each other. On walking around the ship I seen a live stock area with some chickens that was interesting. I was one of the crew if they had to buy a ticket, too, and that person said yes, but I think he had no idea what I said and just said yes to me.

Walking around the ship I have seen that most of the ship is empty.

Julieta got some good sunset photos later at night. It was for most part very clear last night. I was walking on the deck and I seen this lightening storm, I tried to get video of it, but cloud cover was blocking it. I was able see it better the first time before I when back to get my phone. It would been cool looking, the sky was all black and you would seen flash of light in the distance.

Superferry Day 1

Shortly, I will be on my way to Manila abroad a cruise ship if can all it. We got onboard the ship very early, it was almost three hours before we has to leave. I walked around the ship before we left, it was not that big only took me about ten minutes to do it. Because it was so late we took and gpt some food from the galley, upon going into it the ceiling was so low that it only was about two inches from my head and if I did not watch I could hit sprinkle in the ceiling. The food is expensive on he ship and having the bags taken to the ship was expensive also. Everyone takes advantage of you because you are a foreigner and I really do not like it. If you do not give them what they want they will stay there, until you give the money they want. When you get there ten people come to you try to take everything you so you spend all you money just taking bags into to place you have to go.

Ancient Computer !?#$*

So, Julieta had stop Office of the Barangay Council get judgement on client that was not paying their bill, so we waited for city employee to show up, but he/she never show up. So, the door was unlocked, Julieta had to go to bathroom, so she went to the office bathroom by that time I had go to the bathroom, too, so I went I the office to find her and she told me where it was. On my way out I seen this ancient computer and I was just amazed that they were still using something so ancient!

Stolen Picture

So, I was in the same ferry going to Camiguin Island and was walking around and I seen this lady sleeping on this bench in pilote area of the ship, so I took a picture of her.

Later, I seen that she was awake, so I tried to get picture of laying there facing me, but she moved before I could get the picture because she seen me, but I got one of her. I talked to her for little bit and got couple more pictures of her.

I have taken pictures of other people her mainly Julieta’s sisters and I have notice they take and put like peace sign with there fingers when taking the pictures, so I ask her why she does that and she told because it her look cute. I can agree with that she does look cute doing that. After talking I said bye to her and she thank me for taken stolen pictures of her.

So, little while longer I took couple of more of her without her noticing again because she was working.

Cool or Not?

I was taking a ferry to Camiguin Island in the Philippines and there was this guy sitting in front of me, I took a picture of him for your enjoyment.

There young lady behind us, too, so, I that it would be good that her picture, too. She looks like Miss Cool in those sun glasses.

So, because of the way they both look I dub this post Mr. and Mrs. Cool!

I Find This Depressing

In the US (United States), I like going to cemeteries because of the history that presented in the people that were buried there. I have couple of post about cemeteries i have been to in the US and some pictures of the people that are laid to rest there. So, I decide to go the a cemetery here in the Philippines. I was in Manila visiting Julieta’s sisters and there was cemetery near where they live at.

I do not find cemetery depressing, but when I went into this one..I found very depressing. Most of the people were not buried in the ground, but in granitic crypts or cement crypts above ground. I have very eery feeling about seeing that. There was husband and wife that die within few days of each other and that was sad and they had picture of them on the crypt. As I was walking though the place I seen sheep or goats in the cemetery eating grass, which i do not think that is good idea but…how knows! I saw on of the granitic crypts that was not being used and it had back part out of it. It was eery in itself just looking where they put the person at.

All-in-all I find cemeteries here very depressing unlike in the US…or down right scary sometimes.

Oh, on the Day of the Dead, I was on bus that went past this place that look like house, but I was really big cemetery..that interesting…
