Start of My Journey!

So, today I start my journey to different place in the world. I really do not know how it is going to end up. It was an emotional thing for my x-wife because she did not want me to leave. She cried a lot and I told her everything was going to be fine. I think she still care about me someone that part of her life and did not want to let me go, but I have to do this because I need a change and I need to be away from everyone. I have lived an unhappy life for such long time and I need to do something for myself. My life was about me working all the time at place i really did not like anymore and lots of time did not want to go to, but there was something I enjoyed about my job and the people I worked with.

So it begins with me being in airport at 5 am and standing in a long line of people and then going to another long line of people to get scanned by TSA. The amount of security they have is ridicules from taking my shoes off to taking my belt off.  I can understand that they have x-ray the bags and computers, but taking my shoes and belt off give me a brake.  The beginning of the flight was good and the pilot made smooth landing, it must been one of the best yet! Sitting here in the airport terminal on same really bad bench. I have almost six more hours here until my next flight…I really do not know what I am going to do and there is not WIFI here to connect to so..I have use my phone to connect to the internet. There is TSA employee sitting across from me..and he does not look very busy, but he is government employee and the do not work hard and get paid a lot.

A diver was marveling at the beauty of a coral reef 20 feet beneath the waves when he noticed a guy at the same depth wearing no scuba gear. The diver wend down another 20 feet, and few minutes later the other fellow floated into view. Twenty-five feet farther down, the guy reappeared. Confused, the diver took out a waterproof chalkboard and wrote, “How the hell are you able to stay under this long without equipment?”

The guy took the board and pen and scribbled, “I’m drowning, you moron!” – Wrote by Anonymous

Crater Lake National Park, Oregon

Today, I went to Crater Lake National Park. I was on the most amazing thing that I have even seen. The drive was lone from where I lived at, it was more then 4 hours one way. About two months ago, I when to see that place, but being smart person that I am, I typed Carter Lake into the GPS and not Crater Lake by the time I figured it out it was to late to go there because it was an another three in half hours from where I was at and I really did not want to drive it.

When I got here it was something that I have never seen before in my life. The water was so blue, it was like it was not real because water that is you see in the ocean and rivers are kind of green color. From reading, the water is like that because there are no river going to it. The water it gets is from melting snow and raid fall. That was another thing I seen was patches of snow ever where still, which I would have thought it would have melted by now, but think because of the height of the mountain it stays cold there. The highest point that I could see we were at was about 6978 feet above sea level. Getting phone reception was spotty up there. I was on phone with a friend of mine and depending where I was at on the mountain the reception cut in and out. There was person that ask what phone company I had too because he was not able to get a signal there.

The crater part of the lake was made by volcano many years ago. If was to walk around were the lake part of the mountain is you more then likely would find volcanic rocks  or black granite. I know I found black granite as i was driving up the mountain and I took some from the mountain to use a paper weight. There is some interesting information about Mount Mazama on Wikipedia.
